Wednesday, the Eurostat said that the Eurozone construction output declined 2.2% month-on-month in December, compared with a revised 1.7% fall in the previous month.

Year-on-year, the construction output dropped 10.1% in December, after falling a revised 5.1% in November.

In the fourth quarter, the construction output dipped 1.5% on a sequential basis, marking the same pace in the previous quarter.

In 2008, average construction output decreased 2.7% from the previous year.
