According to experts, the consumer price index will slow to 2.4% in annual terms. A rather significant slowdown in inflation (from 2.7%) may put even more pressure on the US currency, which, among other things, is under pressure because of a possible further escalation of the trade conflict with China. Thus, the inflation report is the key event of the last but one trading day of the week. Also, do not lose sight of the situation with Brexit. To a greater extent, this issue concerns the UK, but the signing of a "deal" for the withdrawal of Britain from the EU can have a beneficial effect on the European currency.
