Poland's average gross wages and salaries increased 7.4% year-on-year to PLN 3320.94 in November, the Central Statistical Office said Monday. However, the growth slowed from 9.8% recorded in the preceding month. It was also slower than the expected increase of 8.5%. Compared to October, wages were up 2.4%.

Polish firms with more than nine employees engaged 3.1% more workers in November on an annual basis.
