The U.K. public finances data for June was released at 4:30 am ET Tuesday. Amid the release of the data, the pound plummeted against other major currencies.
At present, the pound is trading at 0.8527 against the euro, 1.6035 against the franc, 132.45 against the yen and 1.5247 against the dollar.
