The Bank of England on Thursday confirmed its preliminary estimate of M4 money supply for June.

According to final data, M4 money supply was flat on a monthly basis in June. It followed a 0.1% decline in May. On an annual basis, money supply grew 3% following May's 2.7% rise.

The household sector's holdings of M4 rose by GBP 1.3 billion in June. The annual growth rate ticked down to 3% from 3.1%. Private non-financial corporations' holdings of M4 rose by GBP 1.4 billion, a n increase of 2.8% year-on-year.

Holdings of M4 by other financial corporations fell by GBP 3.4 billion and M4 lending, excluding the effects of securitisations etc, to OFCs fell by GBP 0.5 billion in June.
