After a slight weakness in early morning session, the European common currency edged up against the Australian dollar in New York mid-day trading on Wednesday. The euro climbed to a fresh multi-day high of 1.4332 versus the Aussie by about 11:45 am ET from early low of 1.4265. The pair that closed Tuesday's New York session at 1.4240, is now worth 1.4315.
