Ireland may not be able to cut its budget deficit to meet EU rules by 2014 as planned due to weaker than expected trends in the economy. Cbank
Cbank's chief said that if the eonomy stays on track deficit would come close to 3pct by 2014.
He also said that some explicit reprogramming of the budgetary profile for the coming years is clearly necessary soon if debt dynamics are to be convincingly convergent.
