Friday, the Spain National Institute of Statistics revealed in a flash estimate that the harmonized index of consumer prices rose 0.7% year-over-year in February, slower than the 0.8% increase recorded in the previous month. Economists were looking for an increase of 0.8% for February.
The statistical office is scheduled to issue the final data on March 12.
