The minutes of the July rate-setting meeting from the Bank of England and unemployment data from the U.K. are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 4.30 am ET, the Bank of England is scheduled to release the minutes of the monetary policy meeting held on July 3 and 4. At the first MPC meeting of Mark Carney, the committee maintained GBP 375 billion bond purchase programme and the record low 0.50 percent.

In the meantime, the Office for National Statistics is set to issue U.K. unemployment data. The claimant count is forecast to fall by 8,000 in June after declining 8,600 in May. The ILO jobless rate is seen unchanged at 7.8 percent during three months to May.

At 8.00 am ET, Poland's industrial output and producer prices for June are due. Industrial production is expected to grow 1 percent month-on-month in June after easing 0.7 percent in May. Economists forecast producer prices to fall 1.8 percent annually in June, following a 2.5 percent drop in May.
