After the release of German retail sales for September at 3:00 am ET Friday, the euro showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the euro changed little against the franc and the yen, it inched down against the pound and the greenback.
The euro was trading at 1.2561 against the greenback, 1.2063 against the franc, 0.7866 against the pound and 139.76 against the yen around 3:05 am ET.
