Retail sales in South Korea surged 1.1 percent on month in June, Statistics Korea said on Friday.
That follows the downwardly revised 1.1 percent contraction in May (originally -0.9 percent).
On a yearly basis, retail sales advanced 1.0 percent following the downwardly revised 1.5 percent gain in the previous month (originally 1.6 percent).
