The Fed Reserve's Industrial Production for July will be issued at 9.15 am ET Thursday. The consensus is for growth of 0.3 percent, compared to 0.4 percent growth in the previous month.
Ahead of the data, the greenback held steady against its major rivals. The greenback was worth 1.1696 against the euro, 110.18 against the yen, 0.9679 against the franc and 1.2882 against the pound as of 9:10 am ET.
