The Office for National Statistics has released UK GDP data for the third quarter at 4:30 am ET Wednesday. After the data, the pound climbed against its major rivals.
The pound was worth 1.3156 against the greenback, 149.76 against the yen, 1.3035 against the franc and 0.8940 against the euro around 4:31 am ET.
