Job advertisements in Australia increased for the second straight month in November, latest survey from the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group revealed Monday.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, total job ads climbed 1.5 percent month-over-month in November, the same rate of increase as in October.
Annual growth in job ads eased to 12.1 percent in November from 12.5 percent in the prior month.
"Another steady rise in ANZ Job Advertisements in November along with other leading indicators suggests a positive outlook for the labor market, particularly given the solid prospects for economic growth," ANZ's head of Australian Economics, David Plank, said.
"Labor market performance through 2017 has been robust, with employment concentrated in full time jobs and picking up across all states. "
