At 4:30 am ET Thursday, U.K. final GDP data for the fourth quarter and mortgage approvals for February have been released.
Following the data, the pound edged up against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 149.74 against the yen, 1.3446 against the franc, 1.4053 against the greenback and 0.8760 against the euro around 4:32 am ET.
