The Committee on Appropriations of the United States Senate approved the budget bill for the fiscal year 2019 of the Department of State and Foreign Operations, which provides US$ 391.2 million of aid to Colombia during the fiscal year 2019.
The amount includes US$ 180 million directed to programs that support the peace agreements and another US$ 200 million for strategies against drug trafficking.
For the second year in a row, the United States Senate has kept the aid without variations.
