At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Destatis has released Germany's factory orders for May.
After the data, the euro rose further against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 129.41 against the yen, 1.1604 against the franc, 0.8838 against the pound and 1.1693 against the greenback around 2:02 am ET.
