The Australian dollar advanced against its major counterparts in early European deals on Thursday.

The aussie climbed to 1.5810 against the euro and 0.9752 against the loonie, from its early lows of 1.5860 and 0.9725, respectively.

The aussie rose to a 2-day high of 82.98 against the yen, from a low of 82.39 seen at 5:50 pm ET.

The aussie edged up to 0.7389 against the greenback, off an early weekly low of 0.7360.

If the aussie rises further, it may find resistance around 84.00 against the yen, 1.56 against the euro, 0.99 against the loonie and 0.75 against the greenback.
