At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released Germany's retail sales data.
After the data, the euro changed little against its major rivals.
The euro was trading at 129.66 against the yen, 1.1683 against the greenback, 0.8970 against the pound and 1.1303 against the franc around 2:03 am ET.
