Statistics Canada releases Canada trade report for September and jobs data for October at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these reports, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie fell against the euro, it held steady against the greenback and the yen. Against the loonie, it recovered.
The loonie was worth 1.3068 against the greenback, 86.35 against the yen, 1.4944 against the euro and 0.9440 against the aussie as of 8:25 am ET.
