The Japanese yen drifted higher against its major counterparts in pre-European deals on Friday.

Reversing from an early low of 114.08 against the greenback, the yen rose to 113.80.

The yen climbed to 3-day highs of 129.07 against the euro, 148.13 against the pound and 112.91 versus the franc, off its early lows of 129.64, 149.05 and 113.42, respectively.

The yen advanced to 2-day highs of 86.30 against the loonie and 82.37 versus the aussie, coming off from its early lows of 86.76 and 82.88, respectively.

If the yen advances further, it may find resistance around 112.00 against the greenback, 128.00 against the euro, 146.00 against the pound, 111.00 against the franc, 85.00 against the loonie and 80.00 against the aussie.
