The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended November 17 and durable goods orders for October are due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of these data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback fell against the pound, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.1410 against the euro, 1.2795 against the pound, 0.9939 against the franc and 113.01 against the yen as of 8:25 am ET.
