At 5:00 am ET Friday, Flash inflation data for February and jobless rate for January are due from the euro area. Ahead of these data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro rose against the yen, the pound and the franc, it held steady against the greenback.
The euro was worth 1.1359 against the greenback, 127.12 against the yen, 1.1363 against the franc and 0.8582 against the pound at 4:55 am ET.
