The U.S. trade data for February is due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose against the euro and the franc, it held steady against the franc. Against the pound, it declined.
The greenback was worth 111.98 against the yen, 1.3049 against the pound, 1.1304 against the euro and 1.0087 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
