Consumer and producer prices from the UK are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 3.00 am ET, the National Institute of Economic Research releases Sweden's quarterly economy report and economic tendency survey data. The economic sentiment index is forecast to drop to 99.5 in June from 99.8 in May.

At 3.30 am ET, Sweden's unemployment data is due. The jobless rate is forecast to rise to 6.5 percent in May from 6.2 percent in April.

Half an hour later, the European Central Bank releases euro area current account balance data for April.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics publishes UK consumer and producer prices. Consumer price inflation is forecast to slow to 2 percent in May from 2.1 percent in April.

UK output price inflation is seen at 1.7 percent versus 2.1 percent in April. Input price inflation is expected to drop to 0.8 percent in May from 3.8 percent in the previous month.

UK house price data for April is also due from ONS at 4.30 am ET.
