At 4.00 am ET Thursday, IHS Markit has released euro area composite PMI data. The euro traded mixed against its major counterparts after the data. While the euro changed little against the pound, it retreated from its early highs against the rest of major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 1.1131 against the greenback, 120.97 against the yen, 0.8637 against the pound and 1.1028 against the franc around 4:05 am ET.
