At 5.30 am ET Tuesday, The UK IHS Markit/CIPS composite PMI data is due. The composite index is seen at 45.1 in March versus 53.0 in the previous month.
Ahead of the data, the pound climbed against its major rivals. The pound was worth 1.1690 against the greenback, 129.53 against the yen, 1.1417 against the franc and 0.9262 against the euro as of 5:25 am ET.
