After the release of U.S. jobs data for May at 8:30 am ET Friday, the greenback advanced against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 109.61 against the yen, 0.9619 against the franc, 1.2639 against the pound and 1.1299 against the euro around 8:34 am ET.
