At 4.30 am ET Tuesday, IHS Markit has published UK composite PMI survey data. The pound inched up against its major rivals after the data.

The pound was trading at 133.77 against the yen, 1.2491 against the greenback, 0.9033 against the euro and 1.1811 against the franc around 4:35 am ET.
