The U.S. import and export prices for June are due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday.
Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose against the franc, it dropped against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 106.83 against the yen, 0.9420 against the franc, 1.2640 against the pound and 1.1444 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
