At 4.30 am ET Monday, UK IHS Markit/CIPS factory PMI survey results are due. According to flash estimate, the manufacturing PMI fell to 60.4 from 63.9 in June.
Ahead of the data, the pound advanced against its major rivals. The pound was worth 152.75 against the yen, 1.3930 against the greenback, 0.8533 against the euro and 1.2610 against the franc as of 4:25 am ET.
