Following the release of Canada GDP data for August at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie fell slightly against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.4390 against the euro, 0.9313 against the aussie, 1.2356 against the greenback and 92.08 against the yen around 8:34 am ET.
