Denmark's seasonally adjusted trade surplus for goods and services expanded to DKK 30.6 billion in July 2025, up from a revised figure of DKK 24.4 billion in June. This marks the highest trade surplus since October 2024, driven by an increase in exports alongside a decline in imports. Specifically, exports rose by 3.3% from the previous month, reaching DKK 180.7 billion, the highest level in seven months, fueled by a 2.2% rise in goods exports and a 4.9% boost in services exports. In contrast, imports dropped by 0.3% to DKK 150.1 billion, with goods imports decreasing by 1.7%. Cumulatively, for the first seven months of the year, Denmark achieved a trade surplus of DKK 166.9 billion, compared to DKK 160.2 billion during the same period in 2024.
