Hungary's construction sector experienced a 4.9% year-on-year increase in output for July 2025, continuing its upward trajectory for the fourth month in a row. This follows a 2.6% rise noted in June. Specifically, building construction surged by 5.7%, a significant jump from the 0.4% recorded in June. In contrast, civil engineering output witnessed a slight easing, growing by 4.7% compared to the previous 6.5%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction output saw a modest rise of 0.8% in July, recovering from a notable 5.3% decline in the prior period.
