Peru's GDP grew by 3.62% in October 2025 compared to the same month in the previous year, showing a slight slowdown from the 3.94% growth reported in September. This growth was driven by robust performance across various sectors. The mining and hydrocarbons sector experienced the highest increase with 6.81%, followed by construction at 4.39%, trade at 4.09%, and manufacturing at 3.06%. Agriculture saw a modest rise of 1.88%, utilities climbed by 3.75%, transport by 3.95%, and hotels and restaurants by 2.86%. The fishing sector experienced a significant surge, growing by 25.7%. Conversely, telecommunications was the only sector to see a decline, contracting by 3.84%. On a month-to-month basis, economic activity rose by 0.13%. Throughout the first ten months of 2025, GDP growth averaged 3.36%.
