Colombia’s exports increased 11.4% year-on-year in February 2026, reaching $4.21 billion and sustaining the solid momentum seen in January’s 12.6% rise. The expansion was driven primarily by a 141.0% surge in the “Other Sectors” category, mainly reflecting higher shipments of non-monetary gold. Exports of agricultural products, food, and beverages also rose sharply, up 11.3%, supported by strong sales of bananas and palm oil. In contrast, exports of manufactured goods fell 6.8%, while sales of fuels and extractive products declined 6.4%. The United States remained Colombia’s main export market, accounting for 31.2% of total shipments, followed by Panama, Italy, India, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.
