Slovakia’s consumer price index (CPI) growth remained unchanged in March 2026, with month-over-month inflation holding at 0.1%, according to data updated on 15 April 2026. The reading mirrors February 2026, when prices also rose 0.1% from the previous month.
The stability in the month-over-month CPI suggests that short-term price pressures were broadly contained heading into spring, with no visible acceleration or deceleration compared with February. On a sequential basis, the March figure confirms a continuation of a low but positive inflation dynamic in Slovakia, as measured by the national CPI.
The data are based on a month-over-month comparison, meaning the March indicator reflects the change from February 2026, while the previous figure showed February’s change versus January 2026. With the indicator unchanged at 0.1%, market participants and policymakers may interpret the latest print as a sign of relative price stability in the near term.
