Serbia’s current account deficit narrowed to $411 million in March 2026 from a revised $548 million in the same month a year earlier. The goods deficit decreased to $642 million from $753 million in March 2025, while the services surplus expanded to $240 million from $136 million. The secondary income surplus also rose, reaching $707 million compared with $414 million a year before. By contrast, the primary income deficit widened significantly, to $715 million from $345 million. Over the first three months of 2026, Serbia recorded a current account deficit of $209 million, an improvement from $690 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
