Business confidence in the Czech Republic improved in June 2026, with the overall indicator rising to 99.8 from 99.0 in May. The increase was mainly driven by stronger sentiment in industry, where the confidence indicator climbed to 97.5 from 94.5. In contrast, several other sectors saw a slight deterioration. Confidence in the trade sector weakened, with its indicator slipping to 91.9 from 92.8. Sentiment in selected services also eased, edging down to 102.2 from 102.4, while confidence in construction declined more markedly, falling to 111.4 from 117.9.
