Friday, Eurozone trade balance report and Swiss producer and import price data are due.

At 2.00am ET, Germany's Federal Statistical Office is expected to report employment and turnover in manufacturing and mining for the month of November. Turnover data for German hotel and restaurant industry is also due.

After half an hour, the Bank of France is due to release results of the business sentiment survey for December. Economists forecast the business confidence index to fall to 65 from 68.

Thereafter, Switzerland's Federal Statistical Office is set to release producer and import price data for December at 3.15am ET. On a monthly basis, producer and import prices are expected to fall 0.6% after falling 1.4%. Year-on-year, growth is predicted to slow to 0.6% from 1.1%.

Fifteen minutes later, the Statistics Sweden is expected to publish service production index.

At 5.00am ET, trade balance data for November is due from the Eurostat. Economists forecast the unadjusted trade balance to record EUR 1 billion surplus after posting EUR 0.9 billion surplus in October. Meanwhile, the seasonally adjusted trade balance is forecast to be a deficit of EUR 4.8 billion, up from EUR 1.3 billion deficit recorded in the previous month.
