At the close in New York, the Dow Jones declined 0.15% to a 1-month low, the S&P 500 fell 0.08% and the NASDAQ Composite rose 0.22%.

The leaders of growth among the components of the Dow Jones at the end of today's trading were shares of American Express Company, which rose 2.70 points (1.68%), to close at 163.27. Home Depot Inc rose 0.91% or 3.01 points to end at 334.22. McDonald's Corporation rose 0.59% or 1.41 points to close at 240.50.

The biggest losers were Walt Disney Company, which fell 4.17% or 7.44 points to end the session at 171.17. 3M Company is up 1.17% or 2.11 points to end at 178.42, while Dow Inc is 1.16% or 0.65 points down to 55.53. ...

The top gainers among the components of the S&P 500 at the end of today's trading were Nektar Therapeutics, which rose 8.45% to 17.72, ConocoPhillips, which gained 3.96% to close at 59.33, and AutoZone Inc, which added 3.65% to end at 1.643.07.

The biggest losers were the Walt Disney Company, which fell 4.17% to close at 171.17. Activision Blizzard Inc shed 4.13% to end the session at 73.03. Wynn Resorts Limited was down 4.07% to 78.77.

The leaders of growth among the components of the NASDAQ Composite index at the end of today's trading were shares of Rewalk Robotics Ltd, which rose 99.23% to 2.5900, Helbiz Inc, which gained 96.17% to close at 28.17, and Ensysce Biosciences Inc rose 53.75% to trade at 4.72 at the close.

The biggest losers were Edesa Biotech Inc, which fell 29.87% to close at 8.360. Discovery Communications B Inc shed 29.08% to end the session at 47.87. Ucloudlink Group Inc prices were down 17.72% to 5.06.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the number of securities that went up (1,719) exceeded the number of securities that closed in the red (1,399), while the quotations of 134 shares remained virtually unchanged. On the NASDAQ stock exchange, 1973 securities rose in price, 1529 declined, and 143 remained at the level of the previous close.

The CBOE Volatility Index, which measures the value of S&P 500 options trading, was down 5.25% to trade at 24.36.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.64% or 11.35 to $ 1,775.15 a troy ounce. In other commodities, WTI crude oil futures for November delivery rose 0.71%, or 0.50, to $ 70.64 a barrel. Futures contracts for Brent oil for November delivery rose 0.78%, or 0.58, to trade at $ 74.50 a barrel.

Meanwhile, on the Forex market, EUR / USD was up 0.00% to hit 1.1725, while USD / JPY was down 0.18% to hit 109.19.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 93.213.
