The Canadian dollar lost further ground against its major opponents on Thursday morning in New York as some weak economic data from both the U.S. and Canada propelled traders to move away from the nation's higher-risk, resource-linked currency. At present, the Canadian dollar is trading at a 2-day low of 1.3354 against the euro, 1.0373 versus the US dollar and 81.94 against the yen.
