Silver fixes at 2,091.00 cents an ounce, compared with 2,085.00 cents at the previous fix on Friday.
Spot last at $20.90 an ounce at 1108 GMT, up from $20.76 late in New York on Friday while gold/silver ratio tumbled to 60.2, its lowest since October 2009.
Gold nudged at record highs above $1,280 an ounce as concern about the global economy dominates trade. Spot last at $1,281.05 an ounce, compared with $1,275.95 on Friday.
Platinum bid higher, rises to $1,624.50 from $1,610.55 previously, while palladium up at $540.28, up from $539.88 on Friday.
