Russian states news agencies on Thursday reported that First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said the country's economy could grow by 2 percent this year.
It was more positive than the forecasts of the central bank and independent economists. Last uear, the World Bank said it predicted Russia's gross domestic product to rise 1.5 percent in 2017.
