Texas-based KMG Chemicals on Monday announced its plan to purchase Flowchem, a pipeline performance chemicals company, from Arsenal Capital Partners.
The chemicals company on late Monday said it will acquire Flowchem , which makes products that reduce the drag of liquids like crude oil in pipelines, for $495 million in cash.
KMG said it expects the transaction to be complete in mid-June.
