The yen on Friday fell versus other currencies in the Asian session.

Versus the Swiss franc and the pound, the Japanese dropped to 114.71 and 141.45 from yesterday's closing quotes of 114.55 and 141.18, respectively.

The yen weakened to 124.29 and 111.43 against the euro and the U.S. dollar from yesterday's closing value of 124.12 and 111.30, respectively.

If the yen continues with its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 116.00 against the franc, 144.00 against the pound, 126.00 against the euro and 113.00 against the greenback.
