The minutes of the Bank of England monetary policy meeting and the U.K. labor market statistics are due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 4.30 am ET, the Bank of England is scheduled to release minutes of the Monetary Policy meeting held on October 3 and 4.

Policymakers had retained the size of the quantitative easing programme at GBP 375 billion and left the interest rate unchanged at 0.50 percent.

In the meantime, U.K. claimant count data for September is due. Economists expect claimant count to remain flat in September. The ILO jobless rate for three months to August is seen at 8.1 percent.

Eurostat is set to issue construction output data for August at 5.00 am ET. Eurozone construction output was down 0.3 percent month-on-month in July.

Swiss ZEW survey results for October are also due at 5.00 am ET. The economic expectations index declined by 1.6 points in September.

At 8.00 am ET, Poland's statistical office is slated to publish industrial output and producer prices for September. Industrial output is forecast to grow 7.8 percent month-on-month after falling 0.8 percent in August. Poland's producer price inflation is expected to slow to 1.7 percent from 3 percent a month ago.
