Wednesday, the Statistics Finland announced that the producer price index, or PPI for manufactured products rose 2.1% year-over-year in November, slower than the 3.8% recorded in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, the PPI declined 1.4% in November, after falling 0.8% in October.

Export price index decreased 1.9% on an annual basis in November, while import prices were down 4.1%. Month-on-month, export prices and import prices fell by 2% and 4% respectively.

Meanwhile, the wholesale price index, or WPI rose 1.2% year-on-year in November, compared with a 3.7% rise seen in the preceding month. On a monthly basis, the WPI dipped 1.9% in November, after falling 1.7% in October.
