South Africa's wholesale sales declined for the third consecutive month in June, Statistics South Africa said Thursday.
Wholesale sales fell 1.4 percent year-on-year in June. Although this was the third straight month of fall, the pace of decline slowed from -4 percent in May.
On a monthly basis, wholesale sales grew 1.6 percent, reversing a 3.4 percent drop in May.
In the second quarter, wholesale trade grew 1.1 percent from the previous quarter.
