At 4:30 am ET Friday, U.K. final GDP data for the second quarter is due to be released. The final quarterly GDP growth is seen at 0.3 percent, unchanged from the previous estimate.
Ahead of the data, the pound fell against its major rivals.
As of 4:25 am ET, the pound was trading at 0.8796 against the euro, 1.3009 against the Swiss franc, 1.3417 against the U.S. dollar and 150.66 against the yen.
